The new deal comes on the back of a historic and successful 2025/26 NPFL campaign that saw the Flying Antelopes clinch a record 9th Nigeria Premier Football League title, further cementing the club's status as one of Nigeria's most successful football institutions. Since taking charge, Ilechukwu has transformed Rangers into a dominant force, guiding the team to league triumphs in the 2023/24 and 2025/26 seasons. His leadership, tactical excellence, and commitment to the club's vision have been instrumental in the team's recent achievements.
