The Winger took part in light training on Tuesday morning as he continues his rehabilitation. Super Eagles left-back Kenneth Igboke is also doubtful for Friday’s encounter after requiring medical attention following the league fixture against Katsina United. Igboke, however, was present in training this morning as the medical and technical teams continue to monitor his condition. Centre-back Chidozie Iwundu, who picked up a knock in the closing stages of Sunday’s first-leg encounter against AS Sobemap, trained with the squad this morning and will continue to be assessed ahead of the trip to Lomé. Wisdom Ebirim is another player working his way back to full fitness after sustaining a knock in Sunday’s game. The midfielder trained lightly with the squad this morning and remains hopeful of returning to contention for Friday’s decisive encounter. Lucky Jimoh is also recovering from a knock but is expected to be available for selection ahead of the second leg. With the tie finely poised, the Rangers technical team will continue to assess the players over the coming days before making final decisions on their availability for Friday’s all-important encounter in Lomé. The Flying Antelopes will be looking to secure a positive result in Togo as we hope to advance to the next stage of the CAF Champions League preliminary round.
